As humans we continue to do the same things over and over because they work for us. When things stop working, we are unfulfilled, broken down, stuck… this is the place for healing, and a place for change. This work starts within.
I utilize a holistic approach and incorporate body and mindfulness-based techniques to therapy that can support your innate capacity to heal from the wounds of the past and the present. This approach allows for a variety of creative and effective ways to address anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief and loss, unresolved trauma, and the myriad of common life issues for which people seek therapy.
I specialize in work with individuals and couples regarding relationship issues and also people dealing with grief and loss.
Sometimes these are very different topics. I believe they are often more connected than we think.
I hold the upmost importance in creating an environment that feels safe and for my clients to feel deep acceptance. I am honest, direct, and playful. I lead with caring and kindness and use humor as part of the healing. I am a fierce advocate for the therapeutic process.
